My 2015 Christmas List to Help Shed Those Christmas Pounds

If you’re like me, you take the entire month of December off of dieting to simply enjoy the season. christmas listYou don’t go crazy, but you do indulge a little bit here and there. Unfortunately, that means that instead of losing weight this month, you’re maintaining or up a few pounds in January. Not ten pounds!!!  I said a few. In my next post, I’ll share how I plan to maintain this month. For now, I’m adding to my Christmas List so my hubby has something to think about. Here’s my list:

2015 Christmas List

Yoga Mat Towel

I never knew I needed a yoga mat towel before, but this is pretty cool. The towel has sticky pads on the bottom of it to grip my yoga mat. It doesn’t move! If I did hot yoga, I think it would work well. Since I don’t, I think it would be great to put it in my car just in case I decide to go to the gym and forget my mat. I’ll be able to use the gym mats and not get grossed out :).

The newest Fitbit has more functionality than the previous models and I’ve been a Fitbit fanatic since they released the first model.
The newest models allow you to see your heart rate all day and during workouts. This allows you to get an estimate of the calories you’re burning as well as see when you’ve reached your target workout intensity. It still has the step and floor tracking, but now has Caller ID and time display. Just like the other models, the new Charge HR can sync to your devices. Love this!

Hydro Flask

My husband brought a Hydro Flask home from work the other day. Apparently, he was given it as a reward for a special project he worked on. At first, I thought that giving a water bottle to someone as a gift was pretty lame. Then, I realized how awesome this bottle is. It keeps the ice from melting almost all day long! That’s amazing, given that Ice usually melts in less than an hour in this Arizona heat.

I’ve borrowed his a few times, but it would be great to have one of my own. I won’t go out an buy one myself because awesome water bottles like these are a luxury in my book. That’s why it’s on the list. Just in case Santa needs to fill my stocking with something!

Unicycle Scooter

I know this is awkward given that I should be sharing diet and exercise related things, but the unicycle scooter helps with balance and gets me out of the house and away from the fridge – so it’s on the list. Plus, scooting down the street on this unicyle would be perfect since the gym is only three blocks away from my house. The kids want the hover boards for Christmas. If they get those, I can join along with mine!

Adjustable Dumbells

The Bowflex SelectTech 552 Adjustable Dumbbells have made my list every year, but haven’t made it under the tree yet. That’s what happens when I have a ton of things on my Christmas list. Maybe if I only put one thing on it, Santa would take the hint. Ha! These dumbells are easy to use and don’t require much space, which is perfect since I plan to downsize in about ten years once the kids go to college. This is definitely the only set of dumbells you’ll ever need. Unless…of course you’re Rocky Balboa.

And there you have it…my super awesome Christmas list for 2015. What’s on your list? I’d love to see in the comments. **This post contains affiliate links. I may be compensated if you purchase through them….which will probably be enough buy me a cup of coffee. I love coffee!**
